Abstract

A type IV conformable pressure vessel assembly is provided comprising a plurality of elongated folded tanks and an on-tank-valve (OTV) manifold assembly configured to pass fluid into and out of an interior of the plurality of elongated folded tanks through a plurality of first and second filling couplers directly connected to respective first and second ends of the plurality of elongated folded tanks. Each of the plurality of elongated folded tanks have at least two chambers for the storage of fluid. The manifold valve assembly receives fluid from an external source, selectively provides the external fluid to one or more of the plurality of first and second filling couplers.
