Abstract
Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may communicate using an initial resource bandwidth as an active bandwidth, wherein the initial resource bandwidth comprises at least a first portion of a bandwidth part (BWP); and switch, based at least in part on a timer expiry, to a default resource bandwidth as the active bandwidth, wherein the default resource bandwidth comprises at least a second portion of the BWP.
