Abstract
The invention relates to a protective cap (or) for arranging on a cable, a corrugated pipe, or the like. The protective cap (or) consists of two parts (oror), in particular two identical halves, wherein the two parts (oror) are connected together via a film hinge (or), and at least one latch geometry (or) is provided which connects the two parts (oror) together after folding. The at least one latch geometry (or) is integrated into the interior of the protective cap (or) and does not protrude beyond the outer surface thereof.
