Abstract
An area light may be provided. The area light may comprise an upper compartment, a lower compartment, and a lamp. The upper compartment may comprise an opening configured to receive a connector that may be configured to receive a cable. The lower compartment may be attached to the upper compartment. The lower compartment may comprise a connector block configured to receive conductors of the cable that supply electrical power. The lamp may be connected to the lower compartment. The lamp may be configured to receive the electrical power from the block.
