Abstract

A heart rate detection method, a heart rate detection apparatus and an electronic device are provided. The heart rate detection method includes: acquiring a heart rate detection light signal, where the heart rate detection light signal is a light signal that is emitted upward from a ring light-emitting region of a display screen and enters a capturing region after being reflected by a finger of a user, and an intermediate region surrounded by the ring light-emitting region is a non-light-emitting region (); and determining a heart rate of the user according to the heart rate detection light signal (). According to the method, the accuracy of heart rate detection could be effectively improved.
