Abstract
A method for reference time setting of the displays () of a sympathetic watch () by a sympathetic clock () forming a sympathetic assembly () with the watch () which includes a coupling mechanism () between its display and finishing gear trains, and a hammer () movable between a coiled position where it is retained by a pawl, and an active position where it rests on an hour heart cam () carried by an hour wheel () of said watch (), to constrain it in rotation to its smallest radius.
