Abstract
An apparatus and method of use for dampening shock and vibration imparted on a unified (e.g., single) and/or dual telemetry measurement-while-drilling (MWD) assembly by a drilling system during the drilling of a wellbore in a subterranean formation is provided. The apparatus may be configured to be threadably engaged and housed within the drilling system, wherein the apparatus reciprocates axially with the MWD assembly, dampening axial and torsional shock and vibration imparted on the assembly, while maintain mud-pulse and electromagnetic signals transmitted by the assembly.
