Abstract
So that an impermissibly high brake pressure in a hydraulic power vehicle brake system () having a slip control system () is prevented in the event of an error, the invention proposes hydraulic function signals (), upon the presence of which the generation of a brake pressure or a boost to the brake pressure is reduced if an electronic function signal of a power brake pressure generator () is absent.
