Abstract
A screening machine () has a screen tray (), in which at least one screen lining () is disposed between two side walls () wherein a screen tensioner () is assigned to the screen lining (), which screen tensioner () extends, with its longitudinal ends, through a respective feedthrough () of the side wall (). At least one of the feedthroughs (is covered, at least in part, on its outer face facing away from the screen lining () by a removable cover (), wherein the cover () is supported on the outer face of the side wall () by a sealing surface () of a sealing element (), the sealing surface () facing the side wall (), such that dust is prevented from escaping and the operating safety and occupational safety is improved.
