Abstract
The invention relates to a method and apparatus for performing acid stimulation of a hydrocarbon well (), especially in a multi-lateral branched well system. In the first lateral (), after installation of the production liner () with ball-activated completion equipment (), acid stimulation is performed through drill string () which is introduced into the well and which seals with the production liner () by means of a stinger () and polished bore receptacle () before introduction of acid.
