Abstract

A method for closing a facility () for extrusion of a profiled element () comprising a roller () supported by a bearing (), a tool module () intended to interact with the roller () so as to form an air gap () for shaping the profiled element (), and at least a first head module () having a first extruder () comprises an engagement step (s), during which the tool module () is urged against the first bearing () by a preload force (F_Z), in an engagement direction (Z), then a clamping step (s) during which the tool module () is clamped between the first head module () and a second head module (), on either side of the tool module (), and by subjecting them to a clamping force (F_X), in a coupling direction (X) which is transverse to the engagement direction (Z).
