Abstract

A frame and patient support are provided, as well as surgical methods using the frame and patient support. The frame and patient support can be used to support and manipulate the patient prior to, during, and after surgery to articulate the patient's body to facilitate stabilization of the patient's spine. The frame and patient support can be configured for rotation about a rotational axis, and the frame and patient support can include a lower-leg-support, an upper-leg-support, a pelvic-support, a torso-support, and a head-and-arm support for supporting corresponding portions of the patient's body.
