Abstract

A connector system () includes a connector () that detachably mates with a mating connector () mounted on an external circuit board (), and an abutting member () fixed to the external circuit board (). The connector () includes a circuit board () that connects to an external device via a signal line (); an electrically conductive first shell () through which a terminal portion () of the circuit board () is inserted and that is electrically connected to the external circuit board () via the mating connector (); and an electrically conductive second shell () that covers at least a portion of a target region that is a region, of one main surface () of the circuit board (), other than the terminal portion (). The abutting member () presses at least a portion of the connector () toward the external circuit board ().
