Abstract
The present disclosure relates to an information processing device and method that enable an increase in data amount of scene description to be curbed. Also, data of the 3D object content managed in all the tracks is obtained on the basis of the scene description file including the track information that designates, as a reference target, some tracks with information for accessing other tracks from among the plurality of tracks of the file container and a reference relationship among the tracks. The present disclosure can be applied to, for example, an information processing device, an information processing method, or the like.
