Abstract
An assembly of cellular window blinds features a manufacturing process that accounts for the different physical properties of materials, helps the rate of shrinkage while cooling, and helps regulate the various heat and pressure for each material in the manufacturing process. The process describes a joining method using two strips of material to form a single-cell product or double-cell product. The assembly involves joining to strips of material to one another via application of an adhesive and curing the adhesive via a curing station. The strips of material are folded, pressed, and cooled prior to being fed into the assembly, thereby reducing or eliminating bowing or otherwise misshaping.
