Abstract

Inhibitors of erythrocyte band 3 tyrosine phosphorylation of formula (I), and pharmaceutical salts thereof, are described: wherein R-Rare defined herein. Compositions comprising compounds of the formula (I), and methods of using the compounds and compositions comprising the compounds to treat sickle cell diseases are also described.
