Abstract

An information processing method includes: acquiring a weight of an electric mobile body; acquiring an amount of power consumption of the mobile body for each of numbers of one or more batteries mounted on the mobile body, the amount of power consumption being calculated based on the number of batteries; calculating a degradation cost of batteries for each of the numbers of the one or more batteries, the degradation cost being calculated based on the amount of power consumption and on the number of batteries; calculating a charging cost for each of the numbers of the one or more batteries, the charging cost being calculated based on the weight; and determining a number of batteries to be actually mounted on the mobile body, in accordance with the degradation cost and the charging cost, and outputting the number of batteries to be mounted.
