Abstract

A printing deviceincludes a print sectionfor printing on a continuous medium M, a pair of holding sectionseach having an insertion sectionconfigured to be inserted into one of a first winding core of the wound medium M or a second winding core for winding the medium M from an outer side in an extending direction of the winding core, and a support sectionfor supporting the holding section, wherein the support sectionis disposed closer to the print sectionthan the holding sectionin a first direction, which is a direction from the holding sectiontoward the support section, of directions perpendicular to the extending direction of the winding core. By adopting the printing devicehaving such a configuration, it is possible to configure the printing deviceto be lowered.
