Abstract
Embodiments include identifying, by a processing system including a processor, a type of a communication service being provided to a communication device, wherein the communication service is facilitated via a first signal that is transmitted to the communication device, the first signal having a first frequency, determining, by the processing system, a degree of a mobility of the communication device relative to a communication range of a first frequency band, the first frequency included in the first frequency band, and causing, by the processing system and based on the type of the communication service and the degree of the mobility, a second signal to be transmitted to the communication device as part of the communication service, wherein the second signal has a second frequency included in a second frequency band that is different from the first frequency band.
