Abstract

This invention is directed to a method of oxidation of 5-chloro-2-((3,4,4-trifluorobut-3-en-1-yl)thio)-1λ,3λ-thiazole and analogs thereof to the corresponding sulfone, using an oxidant and a metal oxide-based catalyst.
