Abstract

A connector assembly () for use in subsea environments comprises a plug () and a receptacle () generally arranged about a longitudinal axis (). The plug () comprises a plug body () through which a down hole gauge cable () extends. The receptacle () comprises a receptacle body () and through which a supply cable () extends for connection with the down hole gauge cable (). The plug () and the receptacle () are secured together via a securing nut (). The plug () and the receptacle () are in contact and form a primary seal (). A rotary test adaptor () is located radially outwardly of and is sealed against an outer surface () of the plug body () and is located radially inwardly of and is sealed against a radially inner surface () of the securing nut (). The rotary test adaptor () comprises an outer surface () and an inner surface () and a test port (), the test port () extends through the rotary test adaptor () from the outer surface () to the inner surface () and is in fluid communication with the primary seal ().
