Abstract
A lens barrel () comprises a lens mount (), a fifth lens group unit (), a cam frame (), a cam pin (), a cam pin holder (), a main shaft (), and an urging spring (). The cam frameencloses the fifth lens group unit, and has a cam groove. The cam pinmoves in the optical axis direction in a state of being engaged with the cam groove. The cam pin holderis provided to the fifth lens group unitin a state of being capable of relative motion in the optical axis direction, and holds the cam pin. The main shaftallows the fifth lens group unitto move in the optical axis direction. The urging springis provided to the fifth lens group unit, urges the cam pin holdertoward the subject side in the optical axis direction, and contracts when the teleconverteris mounted to the lens mountto retract the fifth lens group unitin the optical axis direction.
