Abstract
A jet regulator () for use in a sanitary outflow fitting. The jet regulator () has a housing (), a jet accelerator device (), and a jet aeration device () which is mounted downstream of the jet accelerator device () in a flow direction (). The stream aerating device () has a chamber () that has at least one aeration opening () through which air can be suctioned into the chamber () from the outside. An aperture plate () is arranged within the chamber (), with the aperture plate dividing the chamber () into an air inlet part () and a mixing part (), and air is suctioned from the outside in the air inlet part () and is mixed with liquid in the mixing part ().
