Abstract
Provided is an operating method of a terminal for receiving multicast and broadcast service (MBS) in a wireless communication system. The operating method may include receiving, from a base station, bandwidth part (BWP) configuration information for receiving MBS, the BWP configuration information including at least one of a BWP identity, temporary mobile group identities (TMGIs) of MBS services provided in a BWP, or group-radio network temporary identity (G-RNTI) information, or supplementary downlink (SDL) carrier configuration information for receiving MBS, and receiving first MBS data in a BWP corresponding to the BWP configuration information for receiving MBS or an SDL carrier corresponding to the SDL carrier configuration information for receiving MBS, in a radio resource control (RRC) idle mode or an RRC inactive mode, based on the received BWP configuration information or SDL carrier configuration information.
