Abstract

A plurality of wireless devices arranged indoors, and transmitting wireless signals for acquiring position information, are authenticated. A terminal device acquires position information on the basis of the wireless signals received from the authenticated wireless devices. From the terminal device, information regarding the number of the authenticated wireless devices which are transmission sources of the wireless signals used as a bases for acquiring the position information, is acquired. On the basis of the acquired information regarding the number of the wireless devices, the position information acquired by the terminal device is authenticated.
