Abstract
The present invention relates to an end shield () for a rotary electric machine, including one or more feed channels () for feeding a coolant supplied from a channel formed in a rotor lamination stack () or in a shaft of the rotor () or between the rotor lamination stack and the shaft, wherein at least one feed channel () includes a cross-sectional constriction (), the cross-section of the feed channel decreasing and then increasing in a radial direction relative to the rotational axis (X) of the machine.
