Abstract

Electrical conductor sections, which are mounted to a base member, have respective field-system-side peripheral surfaces thereof covered with a resin. The resin covering the field-system-side peripheral surfaces of the electrical conductor sections has two skin layers formed respectively on the surface side and the electrical-conductor-section side in the resin and a core layer formed between the two skin layers. The sum of radial thicknesses of the two skin layers is greater than a radial thickness of the core layer on a radial cross section of an armature. Alternatively, the entire resin covering the field-system-side peripheral surfaces of the electrical conductor sections is formed of a skin layer.
