Abstract

A traffic signal control device according to an embodiment may include a location determination unit for determining a location of an emergency vehicle, and a traffic light management unit which causes a pedestrian traffic light in the vicinity of the emergency vehicle to output no-crossing information on a region displaying no-crossing information of the pedestrian traffic light, and transmits, to a traffic light controller, a traffic signal control command that causes information indicating an emergency situation related to the emergency vehicle to be outputted to a region surrounding the region displaying the no-crossing information.
