Abstract
Methods and systems for managing data processing systems are disclosed. To address undesired operation of the data processing systems, power supplied to various components of the data processing system may be temporarily removed. After prescribed durations of time have elapsed, the power may be resupplied to the components. The power may be supplied by a primary batter of the data processing system. The components may include both data processing components such as processors and management components such as chipsets.
