Abstract
The application discloses a display panel and a fabrication method thereof. The display panel includes a flexible substrate. The flexible substrate includes a first organic insulating layer, a first barrier layer, a second organic insulating layer, and a second barrier layer. The first barrier layer, the second organic insulating layer and the second barrier layer are sequentially stacked on the first organic insulating layer. The first barrier layer is provided with a plurality of grooves on a side away from the first organic insulating layer. A thickness of the grooves accounts for 25%-55% of a thickness the first barrier layer.
