Abstract

The invention relates to a refrigeration appliance () comprising an outer cabinet () and an inner liner (), internal to the outer cabinet (), defining at least one compartment () for receiving food items. A refrigeration system () comprises an evaporator () arranged inside the compartment () to cool down air. A fan assembly () is arranged inside the compartment () and associated to the evaporator () for generating a cooling air stream for the compartment (). The fan assembly () comprises, arranged side by side: a first layer () of expanded polystyrene; a fan () comprising a rotor () with a rotation axis (X) inclined with respect to a vertical direction (V) and a cover plate (). The fan assembly () comprises a fastening device () apt to fasten the cover plate () to the first layer () to keep the fan assembly () in the assembled configuration.
