Abstract
The invention relates to a crash box () for a bumper arrangement () of a motor vehicle, having at least two closed hollow chambers () which are formed over their entire longitudinal extent from a bumper-side end () as far as a vehicle-side end () and which are in each case separated from one another by a partition () running between an outer wall () and an inner wall () of the crash box (). The invention is distinguished in that the partition () is provided with a slot () at its vehicle-side end () in its half () directed toward the inner wall () of the crash box ().
