Abstract
The present invention provides a metal carbonitride comprising: i) a first metal, M; and ii) a second metal, M; wherein Mis titanium, zirconium or hafnium; and Mis vanadium, niobium, tantalum, chromium, molybdenum, tungsten, iron, ruthenium or osmium.
