Abstract

Methods and devices for reducing inflammation by reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines molecules and increasing anti-inflammatory signaling molecules in a mammal are provided. A device can include a power supply; an amplifier; an antenna, and a waveform generator. The one or more signals can have an aperiodic continuous waveform function or an aperiodic pulse train that reduces inflammation, reduce pro-inflammatory cytokines molecules, and/or increases anti-inflammatory signaling molecules in a mammal.
