Abstract

This disclosure relates to techniques for supporting multiple Quality of Service flows for a service data flow in a wireless communication system. The service data flow may include multiple categories of data with different Quality of Service parameters. Separate Quality of Service flows may be established for each of the categories of data with different Quality of Service parameters. A cellular network and a wireless device communicating data for the service data flow may apply packet detection rules or packet filters to determine on which Quality of Service Flow to communicate data packets of the service data flow, and may communicate the data packets accordingly.
