Abstract

The present disclosure is directed to methods and systems for monitoring the activity of a user. A user performing an activity in a remote area can carry or wear an activity device. The activity device, such as a wearable device, can collect sensor data and send the sensor data to an activity tracking system. The activity tracking system can analyze the sensor data to determine if the user is in potential danger. If a potential danger is detected, the activity tracking system can send a notification to an emergency contact to alert them of the potential danger of the user.
