Abstract
A catalyst includes an alumina support, GdFeOdistributed on the alumina support, and FeOdistributed on the alumina support. The GdFeOis in the form of an orthorhombic perovskite structure with a Pbnm space group, and the FeOis in the form of γ-FeO. Further, the catalyst includes 1 percent by weight (wt. %) to 7 wt. % of Gd and 5 wt. % to 15 wt. % of Fe based on a total weight of the catalyst.
