Abstract
A method of administering a nanoparticle to a subject including: administering to the subject an effective amount of an antibody that binds to an antigen expressed on a surface of a brain endothelial cell such that a sufficient amount of the antibody can bind to the surface of the brain endothelial cell, where the antibody is conjugated to a 1molecule. Then administering to the subject a nanoparticle that is coated with a 2molecule that binds to the 1molecule under a physiological condition in a brain blood vessel such that the nanoparticle can bind to the 1molecule that has attached to the surface of the brain endothelial cell.
