Abstract
A method is provided for performing driving route optimization in field cultivation having a plurality of cultivation steps. In each cultivation step a predefined cultivation area is driven through by an agricultural machine in accordance with a driving route (F-F) containing a plurality of parallel lanes (S-S). The driving route (F-F) is able to be characterized by an orientation (A, A) of the lanes (S-S), a positioning (P-P) that defines positions of all of the lanes (S-S), and an order (R-R) in which the lanes (S-S) are driven through.
