Abstract

Embodiments herein provide a method for tracking a ROI in image frames using an electronic device (). The method includes receiving the image frames from one or more cameras () of the electronic device (). The method includes identifying the ROI in the image frames to be tracked. The method includes determining a distance of the ROI from each edge of the image frames. The method includes recognizing that the ROI is moving away from a position in the image frames based on the distance of the ROI from each edge of the image frames. The method includes automatically operating an actuator () of the one or more cameras () to vary the distance of the ROI from each edge of the image frames to maintain the position of the ROI in the image frames.
