Abstract

An image generation apparatus generates an adjustment screenthat is for allowing a user who is wearing a head-mounted display to adjust an inter-lens distance for the head-mounted display, and causes the head-mounted display to display the adjustment screen. In the adjustment screen, disposed is a lens image (for example, a left lens imageand a right lens image) that indicates a lens in the head-mounted display and also disposed is a pupil image (for example, the left eye imageand the right eye image) that indicates a pupil of the user in reference to an eye tracking result.
