Abstract

A timepiece according to the present invention includes a decorative body that operates stably and intricately. The timepiece further includes a main plate provided with external teeth extending in a circular-arc shape with a central axis O as a center and a rotating plate rotatable around the central axis O with respect to the main plate The timepiece further includes a first gear rotatably supported on the rotating plate and a transmission gear train rotatably supported on the rotating plate, meshing with the external teeth and the first gear. The transmission gear train is configured to transmit, to the first gear, rotation of the main plate with respect to the rotating plate The timepiece further includes a first front decorative body non-rotatably connected to the first gear and displaceable with respect to the rotating plate.
