Abstract
A method and system for reducing the noise generated during a starting failure of a compressor motor and for allowing the piston () to be positioned in a position more favorable for a new start, the method being executed by a failure detection logic (), a de-energization logic () and a positioning logic () of piston (). The failure detection logic () comprises the steps of: obtaining at least one current position (S), one more favorable position (S) and one next position (S) of the piston (); and comparing the next position (S) with the most favorable position (S). The de-energizing logic () comprises the step of keeping the magnetic field active. The positioning logic () of piston () comprises the step of positioning the piston () in a new current position ().
