Abstract
An object of the present invention is to provide a modified channelrhodopsin having high ion permeability (photoreactivity). The solution is to substitute the third extracellular domain counted from the N-terminal side of three extracellular domains included in a Volvox carteri-derived channelrhodopsin by a corresponding extracellular domain of a-derived channelrhodopsin-2.
