Abstract
A personal care composition exhibiting excellent cleaning qualities without the use, or inclusion, of a sulfated surfactant; while also delivering an anti-dandruff benefit. The personal care composition contains 7% to 12% sodium cocoyl alaninate; 3% to about 10% glyceryl ester; an antidandruff agent; a liquid carrier; and wherein the personal care composition is substantially free of sulfated surfactants. The sodium cocoyl alaninate to glyceryl ester ratio can be 2:1. The viscosity of the personal care composition can be 3 mPa-s to 12 Pa-s.
