Abstract
A microchannel chip () includes: a first channel (); a reagent holder (); a gas inlet () communicating with the first channel; a lid () closing the gas inlet; and a second channel () provided downstream of the first channel. A specimen holder () is provided downstream of the reagent holder (). When the lid () closes the gas inlet (), gas is supplied to the first channel () and pushes out the reagent downstream from the reagent holder (). Thus, the pushed-out reagent merges with a specimen in the second channel ().
