Abstract
A method for operating a user equipment (UE) comprises receiving a configuration about a channel state information (CSI) report, the configuration including information about a time interval W for the CSI report, the time interval W comprising multiple time slots; and a number (Y) of channel quality indicator (CQI) values associated with the time interval W; deriving, based on the configuration, the Y CQI values, each of the Y CQI values at a corresponding time slot in the time interval W, wherein the Y CQI values satisfy a block error (BLER) probability requirement; and transmitting the CSI report including the Y CQI values, wherein Y≥1.
