Abstract

A rotating electric machine includes a housing member including a cylindrical portion. First and second electrical components are arranged in the circumferential direction along the cylindrical portion in a radial direction of the cylindrical portion. A coolant passage between an inlet portion and an outlet portion is formed in the cylindrical portion. The housing member includes a partition wall portion partitioning a portion of the coolant passage from the inlet portion to a specific position between the inlet portion and the outlet portion in the circumferential direction as an upstream-side path. The partition wall portion is separated in the radial direction from a wall portion of the cylindrical portion. The first electrical component is arranged on an inner side in the radial direction relative to the upstream-side path, and the second electrical component is arranged on the inner side in the radial direction relative to a downstream-side path.
