Abstract
A process, apparatus, and material for generating polymers are disclosed. Generating the polymers comprises reacting carbon dioxide (CO) with a cyclopropenimine (CPI). Generating the polymers further comprises reacting monomers with a product of the reaction between the CPI and the CO.
