Abstract

The invention relates to a coupler () for differential transmission of an analogue signal () coming from at least one transmitter () with a first earth potential (), via at least one first signal line () and a second signal line (), to a receiver () with a second earth potential (), wherein the coupler () has a filter assembly () for the portions () of the signal () being transmitted via the first signal line () or via the second signal line (), wherein this filter assembly () is potential-free or uses the second earth potential (), and wherein the portions (') of the signal () filtered by the filter assembly () are brought together in a comparator () in order to form the signal () to be supplied to the receiver (), and wherein the comparator () uses the second earth potential (). The invention also relates to a system () for signal transmission and a voltage transformer () comprising the coupler () and/or system ().
